“Galentines”
Saturday, February, 22, 2025
Saving Thyme Patisserie & Bistro
450 Appleby Line, Burlington, ON L7L 2Y2
5:30p-9:00p
Are you looking to meet women who share your faith and understand life's challenges? The Amigas Social event offers a safe, friendly space to build meaningful connections at our upcoming “Galentines” event!
Love goes beyond chocolates, roses, and fleeting emotions. It encompasses more than just an individual or the length and nature of a relationship. While romantic love is merely one type of love, what value do the various forms hold if we haven't learned to accept them?
Join us on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to celebrate the love of sisterhood through community and connection at our first event of the year, Amigas Social presents "Galentine's." Discover why the ability to receive love is just as crucial as offering it. What does it truly signify when we are told that Jesus loves us, and how can we begin to love ourselves as God sees us?
During our time together, we will hear from a guest speaker, worship, participate in small group discussions, and enjoy delicious refreshments. Come prepared to make new friends and leave feeling inspired. Feel free to invite a friend!
*Due to limited seating, a fully refundable fee of $70 is required to reserve your spot. The payment will be refunded after you attend the event. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to process after the event.
When checking out, please "purchase" one item per person at a time. We require each person’s details to register them for the event.

Amigas Collective Bible Study
Tuesday, May 5, 2025 - Tuesday, June 9, 2025
Online cohort - 7:30p - 9:00p
The Amigas Collective is an online Bible study group that meets weekly via Zoom and builds community and connection even over physical distance. Our goal is to establish a safe environment for learning and growing in our faith as we explore the Word of God, share our experiences, and gain insights from one another. Space is limited, allowing us to maintain an intimate environment where we all have time to share and get to know one another.
Join us on a six-week Bible study journey via Zoom on Tuesday, May 5, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.
We will read and learn from Dr. Joel Maddamalle's
"Finding Peace through Humility."
"In this six-session video Bible study (video access included), pastor and Proverbs 31 Ministries theologian Dr. Joel Muddamalle draws lessons hidden in the book of Judges to reveal how making less of ourselves is the secret to living the good life that God promises.
Humility may be the single most underestimated virtue. In fact, it’s the key to security, strength, and confidence and opens the door to allow us to rely on God's limitless resources.
Join Dr. Joel Muddamalle on this study of Judges that will give you a true understanding of the power of biblical humility and help you see the unexpected ways God can work in your life."
*Please note
UPON CHECKOUT, ONLY PURCHASE ONE PER PERSON, AS WE NEED YOUR DETAILS TO MAIL OUT THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF MATERIALS.
ANEW requires a $50.00 fully refundable deposit necessary to hold your place. This deposit will be refunded after the participant has attended all sessions.
